Alfrick questions
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Alfrick?
Alfrick is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
You can choose: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in matt, gloss or soft-touch.
Are the pouches recyclable?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Do I need to be based in Alfrick to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Alfrick orders go out by tracked delivery to WR6.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Alfrick address, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
Printed pouches for Alfrick brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.

Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Alfrick
Any food supplement sold from Alfrick must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. In Worcestershire, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
