Common questions in Casmorys
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Casmorys?
Casmorys is in Wales, so the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003 apply, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Casmorys, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do I need to be based in Casmorys to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Casmorys orders go out by tracked delivery to SA62.
Can pouches have a zip and window?
Yes: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Printed pouches for Casmorys brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.

Rules in Wales
Label rules that apply in Casmorys
Products you sell from Casmorys must meet the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency in Wales. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
