Questions from Dorrington brands
Who enforces food labelling in Lincolnshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Lincolnshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Dorrington?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Dorrington is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Dorrington address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
