Drumclog questions
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Drumclog?
Drumclog is in Scotland, so the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003 apply, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Who enforces food labelling in South Lanarkshire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for South Lanarkshire, with national oversight from Food Standards Scotland. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do I need to be based in Drumclog to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Drumclog deliveries go by tracked delivery to ML10.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Drumclog address, showing our materials and finishes.
Printed pouches for Drumclog brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and switch later.
