Rules in Scotland
Labelling law for supplements from Priestland
Any food supplement sold from Priestland must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by Food Standards Scotland. Locally, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff for East Ayrshire.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
