Questions from Edial brands
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Edial?
Edial is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do I need to be based in Edial to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Edial orders go out by tracked courier to WS7.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Who enforces food labelling in Staffordshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Staffordshire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Edial?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Edial is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Printed pouches for Edial brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.
