Printed supplement pouches in Firsdown
Custom printed pouches for Firsdown supplement brands that have outgrown labelled stock pouches.
Printed pouches for Firsdown brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and switch later. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.

Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Firsdown
Any food supplement sold from Firsdown must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Firsdown questions
Do you send samples?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Firsdown, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Do I need to be based in Firsdown to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Firsdown deliveries go by tracked delivery to SP5.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Firsdown?
Firsdown is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Can pouches have a zip and window?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in matt, gloss or soft-touch.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
