FAQs for Geuffordd
Who enforces food labelling in Powys?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Powys, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency in Wales. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Geuffordd?
Geuffordd is in Wales, so the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003 cover your label, together with the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Geuffordd address, showing our materials and finishes.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
How many pouches do I need to order?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, label stock pouches instead.
Printed pouches for Geuffordd brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
