Rules in Scotland
Supplement labelling rules for Grimeston
Any food supplement sold from Grimeston must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by Food Standards Scotland. In the Orkney Islands, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

FAQs for Grimeston
What’s the lead time for pouches to Grimeston?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Grimeston is usually two working days after dispatch.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Grimeston address, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
Do you only work with Grimeston businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Grimeston orders go out by tracked delivery to KW17.
How many pouches do I need to order?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, use labels on stock pouches.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
