FAQs for Guilsborough
Who enforces food labelling in Northamptonshire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Northamptonshire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Guilsborough?
Guilsborough is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Guilsborough?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Guilsborough is usually the next working day after dispatch.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Guilsborough address, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
Printed pouches for Guilsborough brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
