Label rules that apply in Hedon
Any food supplement sold from Hedon must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. In East Riding of Yorkshire, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Printed pouches for Hedon brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and switch later. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.

Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Hedon address, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.

No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Hedon deliveries go out by tracked delivery to HU12.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Hedon?
Hedon is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
