Questions from Preston brands
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, label stock pouches instead.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Preston?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Preston is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Who enforces food labelling in East Riding of Yorkshire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for East Riding of Yorkshire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Preston, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Printed pouches for Preston brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.

The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
