Questions from Kames brands
What’s the lead time for pouches to Kames?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Kames is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Kames?
Kames is in Scotland, so the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003 apply, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Who checks supplement labels in East Ayrshire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for East Ayrshire, overseen nationally by Food Standards Scotland. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
You can choose: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Are the pouches recyclable?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
Printed pouches for Kames brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and switch later.
