Label rules that apply in Lilyhurst
Supplements sold from Lilyhurst must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Printed pouches for Lilyhurst brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Still testing a product? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.

Questions from Lilyhurst brands
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Lilyhurst, showing our materials and finishes.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, label stock pouches instead.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Lilyhurst?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Lilyhurst is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Do you only work with Lilyhurst businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Lilyhurst deliveries go out by tracked courier to TF11.
