Common questions in Lockerbie
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Lockerbie?
Lockerbie is in Scotland, so the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003 apply, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Lockerbie, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Lockerbie?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Lockerbie is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Printed pouches for Lockerbie brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes are all available, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Not ready for a printed run? Start with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.
