Lockerbie questions
When will my labels arrive in Lockerbie?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Lockerbie orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Which material is best for a protein tub?
Laminated white PP. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Lockerbie, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Do you only work with Lockerbie businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Lockerbie deliveries go out by tracked delivery to DG11.
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
We can. Our digital press adds a different batch and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
Rules in Scotland
Labelling law for supplements from Lockerbie
Products you sell from Lockerbie must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by Food Standards Scotland. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Dumfries and Galloway.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
