Printed pouches for Newlands brands

Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and switch later. Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Newlands
Any food supplement sold from Newlands must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. In Nottinghamshire, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Nottinghamshire.
One label works across England, Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Common questions in Newlands
Are the pouches recyclable?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Who enforces food labelling in Nottinghamshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Nottinghamshire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Newlands address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Do you only work with Newlands businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Newlands deliveries go by tracked courier to NG19.
