Supplement labelling rules for Pontlliw
Supplements sold from Pontlliw must meet the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency in Wales. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Swansea.
Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
