Printed pouches for Rainworth brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Questions from Rainworth brands
Are the pouches recyclable?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
How many pouches do I need to order?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, use labels on stock pouches.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Rainworth, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Do I need to be based in Rainworth to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Rainworth orders go by tracked delivery to NG21.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Rainworth
Products you sell from Rainworth must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.
Start with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
