Printed pouches for St Ishmael's brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches are all available, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.

St Ishmael's questions
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from St Ishmael's?
St Ishmael's is in Wales, so the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you only work with St Ishmael's businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. St Ishmael's deliveries go out by tracked delivery to SA62.
What’s the lead time for pouches to St Ishmael's?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to St Ishmael's is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the specification before you make any claim on pack.
Rules in Wales
Labelling law for supplements from St Ishmael's
Products you sell from St Ishmael's must meet the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency in Wales. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for Pembrokeshire.
Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
