Digitally printed stand-up pouches for supplement businesses in Upperthong and across Kirklees, in short runs with your label design printed straight onto the pack.
Printed pouches for Upperthong brands
When a product is selling steadily, a printed pouch is often the next step from labels. We print your design directly onto the pouch, with the same compliance check as our labels. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish. Still testing a product? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells.

Common questions in Upperthong
How many pouches do I need to order?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, label stock pouches instead.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do I need to be based in Upperthong to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Upperthong deliveries go out by tracked courier to HD9.
Who enforces food labelling in Kirklees?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Kirklees, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Upperthong address, showing our materials and finishes.
Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Upperthong
Products you sell from Upperthong must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
