Rules in England
Supplement labelling rules for Woodfalls
Products you sell from Woodfalls must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. In Wiltshire, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.

FAQs for Woodfalls
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Woodfalls?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: your quote includes the lead time, then delivery to Woodfalls is usually the next working day after dispatch.
How many pouches do I need to order?
Minimums depend on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, label stock pouches instead.
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
