Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.

FAQs for Y Gurnos
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Y Gurnos?
Y Gurnos is in Wales, so the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003 apply, together with the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Can pouches have a zip and window?
You can choose: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Y Gurnos?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Y Gurnos is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Do I need to be based in Y Gurnos to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Y Gurnos orders go by tracked courier to SA9.
