Ysbyty Ystwyth questions
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Ysbyty Ystwyth, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Ysbyty Ystwyth?
Ysbyty Ystwyth is in Wales, so the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003 cover your label, together with the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Who enforces food labelling in Ceredigion?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Ceredigion, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency in Wales. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can pouches have a zip and window?
You can choose: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
