FAQs for Aymestrey
Who enforces food labelling in Herefordshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Herefordshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you only work with Aymestrey businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Aymestrey deliveries go by tracked delivery to HR6.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
What’s the lead time for pouches to Aymestrey?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Aymestrey is usually the next working day after dispatch.
How many pouches do I need to order?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For a small first run, label stock pouches instead.
Printed pouches for Aymestrey brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and move to printed pouches once it sells. Zips, windows, tear notches and hang holes can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.
