FAQs for Barnby in the Willows
Who checks supplement labels in Nottinghamshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Nottinghamshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Barnby in the Willows address, showing our materials and finishes.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Barnby in the Willows?
Pouches take longer to make than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Barnby in the Willows is usually the next working day after dispatch.
What’s the minimum order for printed pouches?
It depends on the pouch size and finish, and we quote them per design. For small quantities, use labels on stock pouches.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
