Downton questions
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do you only work with Downton businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Downton orders go out by tracked delivery to SP5.
Are the pouches recyclable?
Mono-material pouches are available, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Downton?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Downton is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
Yes: resealable zips, tear notches, hang holes and clear windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
