Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Georgeham
Any food supplement sold from Georgeham must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Printed pouches for Georgeham brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and switch later.

Questions from Georgeham brands
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Georgeham address, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
How long do printed pouches take to reach Georgeham?
Printed pouches take longer than labels: we confirm the lead time with your quote, then delivery to Georgeham is usually the next working day after dispatch.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Georgeham?
Georgeham is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do I need to be based in Georgeham to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Georgeham deliveries go by tracked delivery to EX33.
