Oldcotes questions
Do you offer recyclable pouches?
We offer mono-material pouches, designed for recycling where collection exists. Check the spec before putting a recycling claim on the pack.
Can I add a zip or window to the pouch?
Yes: zips, tear notches, hang holes and windows, in a matt, gloss or soft-touch finish.
Do I need to be based in Oldcotes to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Oldcotes orders go by tracked delivery to S81.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Oldcotes address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Printed pouches for Oldcotes brands
Printed pouches look more premium than a labelled stock pouch and save the time of applying labels. Digital printing means short runs per design, so you don’t need to commit to tens of thousands of units. Not ready for a printed run? Begin with labels on stock pouches and switch later. Resealable zips, clear windows and tear notches can all be added, with matt, gloss or soft-touch finishes.

Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Oldcotes
Any food supplement sold from Oldcotes must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. In Nottinghamshire, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
One label works across England, Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
