Questions from Oldcotes brands
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
We can. Variable data printing adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Oldcotes, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Oldcotes?
Oldcotes is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Who checks supplement labels in Nottinghamshire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Nottinghamshire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
When will my labels arrive in Oldcotes?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Oldcotes orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
