Rules in Wales
Labelling law for supplements from Alltwalis
Supplements sold from Alltwalis must meet the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency in Wales. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Carmarthenshire.
Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Alltwalis is in Wales, so the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003 apply, together with the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you only work with Alltwalis businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Alltwalis orders go by tracked courier to SA32.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Alltwalis address, so you can feel the materials and finishes.

We can. Our digital press adds a different batch and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.

No fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can mix several designs in one order.
