Common questions in Ampleforth
Who enforces food labelling in North Yorkshire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for North Yorkshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Variable data printing adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
What’s the smallest run you print?
No fixed minimum. Short runs from 250 labels are common for new products, and you can combine several designs in one order.
What label suits a powder tub?
Laminated white PP. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
When will my labels arrive in Ampleforth?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so most Ampleforth orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
