Rules in Scotland
Supplement labelling rules for Armadale
Products you sell from Armadale must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by Food Standards Scotland. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for West Lothian.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Armadale is in Scotland, so the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003 apply, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.

Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Armadale orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
