Questions from Asperton brands
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
Yes. Our digital press adds a batch code and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Who checks supplement labels in Lincolnshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Lincolnshire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
How long does delivery to Asperton take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most Asperton orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
What’s the smallest run you print?
There’s no fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can combine several designs in one order.
