Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Bitchfield
Products you sell from Bitchfield must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. In Lincolnshire, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for Lincolnshire.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Questions from Bitchfield brands
When will my labels arrive in Bitchfield?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so most Bitchfield orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Do I need to be based in Bitchfield to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Bitchfield orders go out by tracked courier to NG33.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Bitchfield address, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Bitchfield?
Bitchfield is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
