Rules in England
Supplement labelling rules for Blackwater
Products you sell from Blackwater must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Hampshire.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

FAQs for Blackwater
Do I need to be based in Blackwater to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Blackwater deliveries go out by tracked courier to GU17.
Is there a minimum order?
No fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can combine several designs in one order.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Blackwater address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
When will my labels arrive in Blackwater?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so the majority of Blackwater orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
