Bleak Hey Nook questions
What’s the smallest run you print?
There’s no fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can mix several designs in one order.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
Yes. Variable data printing adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Who checks supplement labels in Oldham?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Oldham, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Bleak Hey Nook, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
What label suits a powder tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
