Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Blindley Heath
Any food supplement sold from Blindley Heath must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Blindley Heath questions
How long does delivery to Blindley Heath take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so most Blindley Heath orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Who enforces food labelling in Surrey?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Surrey, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
What’s the smallest run you print?
There’s no fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can mix several designs in one order.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do I need to be based in Blindley Heath to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Blindley Heath deliveries go out by tracked delivery to RH7.
