Rules in England
Supplement labelling rules for Boyton
Products you sell from Boyton must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. In Cornwall, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Boyton questions
What’s the smallest run you print?
No fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can combine several designs in one order.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Boyton, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
How long does delivery to Boyton take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Boyton orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Do I need to be based in Boyton to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Boyton orders go out by tracked delivery to PL15.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
