Supplement labelling rules for Bullwood
Any food supplement sold from Bullwood must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, overseen by Food Standards Scotland. In Argyll and Bute, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff for Argyll and Bute.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

FAQs for Bullwood
How long does delivery to Bullwood take?
Usually two working days after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so the majority of Bullwood orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Bullwood address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
Yes. Our digital press adds a batch code and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
What’s the smallest run you print?
No fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can combine several designs in one order.
