FAQs for Burford
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Burford, showing our materials and finishes.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Burford?
Burford is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Do you only work with Burford businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Burford orders go by tracked delivery to WR15.
When will my labels arrive in Burford?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most Burford orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.

Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Burford
Products you sell from Burford must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Worcestershire.
One label works across England, Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
