Burgh questions
Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Our digital press adds a batch code and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Who checks supplement labels in Suffolk?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Suffolk, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Burgh address, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Burgh?
Burgh is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
