Label rules that apply in Burston
Any food supplement sold from Burston must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Common questions in Burston
What label suits a powder tub?
Laminated white PP. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
Do you only work with Burston businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Burston orders go by tracked delivery to ST18.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Variable data printing adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Is there a minimum order?
No fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can mix several designs in one order.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Burston address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
