FAQs for Compton
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Variable data printing adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Who enforces food labelling in Staffordshire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Staffordshire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Compton address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Do I need to be based in Compton to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Compton orders go by tracked delivery to DY7.
