Cosby questions
Is there a minimum order?
No fixed minimum. Short runs from 250 labels are common for new products, and you can combine several designs in one order.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Cosby, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Cosby?
Cosby is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, together with the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Who checks supplement labels in Leicestershire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Leicestershire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
