Questions from Cottown brands
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Cottown address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
What label suits a powder tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
How long does delivery to Cottown take?
Usually two working days after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so the majority of Cottown orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Do I need to be based in Cottown to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Cottown orders go by tracked delivery to AB51.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Cottown?
Cottown is in Scotland, so the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.

Rules in Scotland
Label rules that apply in Cottown
Any food supplement sold from Cottown must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, overseen by Food Standards Scotland. Locally, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
