Questions from Coundongate brands
What label suits a powder tub?
Laminated white PP. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
Do you only work with Coundongate businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Coundongate deliveries go by tracked delivery to DL14.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Who enforces food labelling in County Durham?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for County Durham, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
How long does delivery to Coundongate take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Coundongate orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
