Cowie questions
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
What label suits a powder tub?
Laminated white PP. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
Do I need to be based in Cowie to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Cowie orders go out by tracked delivery to FK7.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Our digital press adds a batch code and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
When will my labels arrive in Cowie?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most Cowie orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.

Supplement labelling rules for Cowie
Products you sell from Cowie must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of Food Standards Scotland. Locally, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff for Stirling.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
