Rules in England
Supplement labelling rules for Cressage
Supplements sold from Cressage must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. In Shropshire, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Questions from Cressage brands
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Cressage address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
What label suits a powder tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
Yes. Our digital press adds a different batch and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Cressage?
Cressage is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
How long does delivery to Cressage take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so most Cressage orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
