Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Crouch
Any food supplement sold from Crouch must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. In Kent, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for Kent.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Crouch questions
How long does delivery to Crouch take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Crouch orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Variable data printing adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Is there a minimum order?
No fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can mix several designs in one order.
Do you only work with Crouch businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Crouch deliveries go out by tracked delivery to TN15.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
